Known as a very depressing month to most, February has a different meaning to me. For me, February is significant for 13 of the following reasons;
- I got a letter from the Ministry of Transportation, which means, my birthday is this month.
- Valentine's Day
- The days are getting longer
- Baseball Spring Training begins
- The NHL trade deadline is in February
- UrbanMummy has just under a week off and that means little day trips with the kiddies
- That "family" day that I don't get but will take as vacation
- After the 28 days, it's March and with March, comes April, then May, then June... You get the picture.
- I hope and prey to use February to change jobs
- Become a substantive manager at my current position
- Lose weight and get in shape playing sports
- Get that closet done in our basement
- Make the little misses VERY happy.

I LOVE that the days are getting longer too. I'm kinda obsessive about tracking exactly when it gets dark each day...
i just started noticing the longer days also and I LOVE it.
I'm thrilled it's February. It means January is OVAH! I hate january (except my husband's birthday).
